Mountain Jump (Poem)

Mountain Jump

Hanging up over the clouds
Lonely, away from the rest of the world.
Thousands of kilometres over the towns,
Sitting on a mountain, watching a bird.

This bird's flying higher, higher and more
Now I start knowing what I adore.
I wanna fly high, 'cause I need a new kick,
Fly with the bird, this little cute chick.

I wanna feel freedom and adrenalin,
Standing at a mountain's top with the stuff I pack.
Remembering the parachute in my back.
I wanna slide down with my glasses of Gin.

There's again the bird coming to me
Flying so happy and wild and free,
This bird gets slower and next to me,
Feels like it's all I ever wanted to be.

So many things went wrong in life
But this moment I forget this stuff so fast,
Just have to jump and realize
The memories stay in the past.

Thinking about the humans I loved the most,
About my grandpa and his ghost,
About the things I could have done,
About how the world is when I'm gone.

My whole life I tried the best,
Helped people who had bullied me,
But always was too blind to see
That I'm kindhearted, but they still left.

I don't really know what goes so wrong,
The people just say: "don't worry, carry on."
But all I need now is jump along,
If I reach the earth alive I'm more than strong.
